Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Irvin “Tee” Touchet, 87, who died Sunday, March 13, 2016 at AMG Specialty Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Dunn and Kerry Doucet officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty D. Touchet of Gueydan; two sons, Mike Touchet and Ted Touchet of Gueydan; two daughters, Marilyn and her husband, Gene Martin of Gueydan and Kelly and her husband, Ryan Thibodeaux of Lyons Point; four sisters, Rose Cormier of Gueydan, Ruby Saltzman of Nunez, Evelyn Richard of Gueydan, and Celestine LaCombe of Gueydan; two brothers, Lloyd Touchet of Gueydan and Lasley Touchet of Abbeville; three grandchildren, Jada LeDoux, Kyla Martin, and Cody Martin; and four great grandchildren, Natalie Gleason, Gia Martin, Logan LeDoux, and Luke LeDoux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Touchet and the former Ada Cormier; two brothers, Linus and Henry Touchet; and one sister, Beatrice Ryder.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 12 p.m. until 10 p.m.; Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 8 a.m. until services.
