Carrol Lee Primeaux

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services. Mr. Primeaux retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 39 years of service. He had a love for sports, and coached baseball for many years. He is survived by his son, Carl Primeaux and wife Shawn of Duson; two daughters, Donna Marceaux and husband Ellis of Kaplan and Susan Manceaux and husband Charlie of Duson; a brother, Harold Primeaux and wife Imae of Abbeville; sister-in-law, Annette Primeaux; three grandchildren, Devin Primeaux, Holden Primeaux and Alexis Marceaux; a great grandchild, Brayden Melancon; and three step grandchildren, Destini Theriot, Damian Roger and Heather Romero.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Boniface and Una Hebert Primeaux; and one brother, Alfred Primeaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Thursday, May 14, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
