She is survived by her sons, James Holmes III and his wife Marlene, and Richard Holmes and his wife Cindy; four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Hebert; mother, Naomi Choate Hebert; sister, Jeannie Hebert; brother, Floyd Hebert; first husband, James W. Holmes, Jr.; and second husband, Joseph Stelly.
