ABBEVILLE-Services will be held Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church honoring the life of Linda Broussard Griffin, 68 years, who died Monday, September 5, 2016 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Gregory Cormier officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Marcus Rizzato, Ty Griffin, Jared ‘Sweet” DeAngelo, Richard Pratt, Tommy Picard and Reid Broussard. Honorary pallbearers will be Jake Griffin and Timmy Pratt.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Griffin; son, M. Todd Griffin; daughter, Shantell and her husband Marcus Rizzuto; three sisters, Diana Faye and her husband Oliver Pratt, Dee Dee and her husband Glenn Richardson, and Kathy and her husband David Touchet; and five grandchildren, Bryce, Ani’, McKenzie, Jake, and Ty Griffin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ursula Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 PM. Visitation will con-tinue, Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 9:45 AM.
