Abbeville- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday November 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church honoring the life of Hazel Marie Menard, 83 years, who died Friday, November 11, 2016.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Fr. Michael Richard officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Brent Viator, Michael Viator, Roddy Olds, Raymond Steiner, David Bertrand and Mickey Viator.

She is survived by her two brothers, Presley Viator and Lennis Viator.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling "Cap" Menard; sons, Roddy G. Menard and Brett James Menard; parents, Luce Viator and the former Marie Simon; brothers, Ulysse, Lucien, Dallas, Lolly, Lloyd, Harris and Curvis Viator; sisters, Edolie "Noon" Trahan, Olivia Viator Hebert and Agnes "Toot" Olds.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Monday November 14, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00PM; Tuesday November 15, 2016 from 8:00AM until 10:45AM when the procession departs for the church.
