He is survived by his sons, Joseph Raymond Bares, and Ray Lange and his fiancée Jaeka Jones; daughters, Amanda Datraz and her husband Seth, and Claire Wallace and her husband Kalip; six grandchildren; mother, Lillian Broussard Bares; three brothers, Tommy Bares and his wife Darlene, Johnny Bares and his wife Donna, and Tony Bares and his wife Tiffany; and sister, Deanna Chapman and her husband Bill.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Bares; and grandparents, Edier and Effie Bares.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Saturday November 19, 2016 from 9:00 AM until time of services.
