Jadd Cole Gaspard

Maurice—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 23, 2016 at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Jadd Cole Gaspard, 21 years, who died Sunday, December 18, 2016.

He will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Trevor Dupont, Tristan Lou Hebert, Trae Thomas, Kyle Griffin, Jonathon Rost and Jordan Rost. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Sellers, Craig Frederick and Coy Miller.

Jadd was an avid outdoorsman that loved duck hunting, deer hunting, fishing, mudding and spending time with his friends and family. He was a friendly person who was always smiling and the life of every party. He was a caring individual who was always willing to come to the assistance of anyone in need. Jadd pushed and lived life to the limit.

He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Jill Gaspard; maternal grandfather, Darrell Miller; maternal grandmother, Donna Hebert; paternal grandparents, Daniel and Cheryl Gaspard; maternal great grandmothers, Evelyn Miller and Bernice Hebert; significant other, Bailey Strother; and best friend, Trevor Dupont.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfathers, Clarence Hebert and Ibra Miller; paternal great grandparents, Remy and Helen Sellers; paternal great grandparents, Elda and Clifton Gaspard; uncle, Cliff Gaspard; and paternal great uncle, Pervis Gaspard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 PM; Friday, December 23, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 1:30 PM when the procession departs for the church.
