Abbeville-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Joseph Wilton Suire, 80 years, who died Friday, December 30, 2016.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Louis Richard officiating the services.

He is survived by his brother, Preston Suire; and two sisters, Zoie Stoute and Lillian Turner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Suire and the former Avelia Touchet; and sisters, Lilias Cenac, Onezia Trahan, Jeanne Dupre and Hilda Marceaux..

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Monday January 2, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 PM; Tuesday January 3, 2017 from 8:00 AM until 9:45 AM when the procession will depart for the church.
