Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Eve Bertrand Sevin, 86 years, who died Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, Otis Sevin and his wife, Dianne of Breaux Bridge and Anthony Sevin and his wife, Holly of Kaplan; 10 grandchildren, Lindsay DuFour of Hessmer, Michael Smith, Jr. of Lafayette, Rachael Poole of Angola, Maggie Venable of Breaux Bridge, Shelby Sevin of Breaux Bridge, Cole Sevin, Halie Savoie, Abbie Sevin, Jordan Sevin, and Joshua Sevin, all of Kaplan; and 4 great grandchildren, Anneliesa DuFour, Stella DuFour, Christian Smith, and Jesse Poole.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Sevin, Sr.; and one son, Arthur Sevin, Jr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 10:00 AM until services with a rosary being prayed at 12:00 PM.
