Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Enix Lege, 94 years, who died Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette. She will be laid to rest at Greene Cemetery with Mr. Taj Stark officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, Paul W. Abshire, Jr. of Kaplan and Roger D. Abshire of Meaux; three daughters, Janelle Trahan of Kaplan, Mary Hazel Cubberly of Columbus, GA, and Marlene Abshire of Kaplan; one brother, Joseph Lege of Angleton, TX; one half brother, Paul Ravis Hargrave of Vider, TX; 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Lege and the former Eugena Hargrave; one son, Davis Abshire; four sisters; two grandsons, Shawn Abshire and John Jay Benoit; and one great grandson, Christopher Chatham.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM; Monday, March 6, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the services.
