Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Bonnie Marie Baty, 62 years old, who died Monday, March 6, 2017 at Vermilion Health Care Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Pastor Thomas Payne officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, Robert Trahan, Jr. and his wife, Tiffany of Texas and Steven S. Baty of Lafayette; four daughters, Antoinette and her husband, Dennis Hargrave of Kaplan, Arieal and her husband, Brent Frith of Kaplan, Connie and her husband, Keith Landry of Denham Springs, and Sherry Mouton of Lafayette; two brothers, Larry and Bobby Broussard of Kaplan; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Baty; and her parents, Camille Broussard and Marie Racca Derouen.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 9:00 AM until services.
