Cow Island—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 27, 2017 at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Sandra Miller Bufford, 53, who died Friday, March 24, 2017 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at St. Anne Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

She is survived by her companion, Byron Luke Parsley of Eunice; one daughter, Tonya Bufford Lassiter and her husband, David of Abbeville; three grandchildren, Jondavid, Joseph, and Jackson Lassiter of Abbeville, her mother, Myrtis Foster of Cow Island; two sisters, Donna and her husband, Chris Hollier of Forked Island and Ronda and her husband, Gary Gaspard of Cow Island; two brothers, Donald Miller and his wife, Donna of Forked Island and Ronald Miller of Forked Island; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Miller; her maternal grandparents, Francis and Natilia Foster; and her paternal grandparents, Antoine and Delia Miller.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM; Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM; Monday, March 27, 2017 from 8:00 AM until services.
