Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of David “Duck” Broussard, 59, who died Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mary Ann Broussard of Kaplan; one step-daughter, Jerry Primeaux of Houston, TX; one godchild, Katti Marceaux of Kaplan; one sister-in-law, Ida Miller of Kaplan; two brothers-in-law, James Hargrave of Crowley and Adam Marceaux of Kaplan; one first cousin, Norman Broussard and his wife, Rhonda of Kaplan; and his friend, Tami Istre of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Broussard and the former Wyline Hargrave; one sister, Linda Broussard; and three brothers, Thomas, Richard, and Jeffery Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 3:00 PM until services on Thursday with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM Wednesday evening.
