Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Floyd Joseph LeBlanc, Sr., 74, who died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Peola Benoit LeBlanc of Wright; one son, Joseph LeBlanc and his wife, Sherry of Delcambre; two sisters, Gladys Whitley of Lake Charles and Ella Jane Landry of Abbeville; three brothers, Clifford LeBlanc of Kaplan, Hebert LeBlanc of Kaplan, and Wilbert LeBlanc of Kaplan; three grandchildren, Josh Ruiz, Mat Ruiz, and Haylin LeBlanc; and two great grandchildren, Peyton Ruiz and Avery Ruiz.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Janius LeBlanc and the former Marie LaPointe; and one sister, Jeanette Hardy.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 9:00 AM until services with a rosary being prayed at 1:00 PM.
