Charles "C.J" J. Hebert

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Charles "C.J." J. Hebert, 85, who died Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Jennings American Legion Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Samuel Fontana officiating the services.

He is survived by his son, Marlon Hebert and his wife, Camala of Lake Arthur; two daughters, Roxanna and her husband, Mike Perrin of Athens, TX and Ratisha and her husband, Craig Broussard of Meaux; three brothers, Lloyd LeBlanc of California, Preston LeBlanc of Lake Charles, and Ernest LeBlanc of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Gloria and her husband, Riley Schexnayder of Crowley and Judy and her husband, Harry Jukes of Crowley; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Gaspard; one son, Mark Hebert; one step-son, Michael Dean Duhon, Sr.; one grandson, Josh Perrin; his parents, Renus and Olite Hebert; and one sister, Anite Deshotel.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM; Monday, May 1, 2017 from 9:00 AM until services.
