Kaplan — A gathering of family and friends will be held at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM honoring the life of Rose Marie Jones, 67, who died Thursday, August 3, 2017 at her residence.

She is survived by her two sons, Craig Steven Young and his fiancée, Lydia Trahan of Kaplan and Irvin Melvin Cates, Jr. and his wife, Ashley of Kaplan; one daughter, Melissa Istre and her fiancé, Joshua Touchet of Erath; one brother, Robert Stanley Jones, Jr. and his wife, Gracie of Maiden, North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Rose Marie Skyles, Kristen Nicole Crepel, Weslynn Nicole Marie Young, Dawn Marie Harrington, Desmond Michael Young, Angel Abshire, and Dominic Cates; and two great grandchildren, Alister Jude Young and Brantley Wallace Harrington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Stanley Jones and the former Ruth Ethel Evans.
