Abbeville—Memorial services will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Allen Ray "Sweet Pea" Stoute, Jr., 52, who died Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at his residence. Deacon William Vincent will officiate the service. A private burial will take place at a later date.
“Sweet Pea” worked many years in construction as a Pipe Fitter Superintendent. He enjoyed watching LSU Tiger football and all sports. He also enjoyed having cookouts with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Stoute; mother, Gail Stoute; sister, Allison Hughes and husband Chad; uncle loved as a brother, Larry Trahan and his wife Rose; aunts, Marian Arabie and JoAnn Guidry and husband Bobby; two nieces, Bailey and Laya; numerous cousins; and a son and daughter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Ray Stoute, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Trahan; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Ray Stoute; and uncles, Daniel Arabie, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Jeffery Turner.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM until time of services. A rosary being prayed at 1:00 PM.
The Stoute family would like to thank his nurses, Natalie Gray and Scarlette Rideaux for all the loving care and compassion the showed.
