Abbeville-Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home Abbeville, honoring the life of Angela Lambert, 59, with Pastor David Baudoin officiating, who passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Calcutta House in Lafayette, LA. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Landon Gooch, Jacob Gooch, Robert Gooch, Brandon Darby, Dustin Landry and Zachary Landry. 

Angela was a beautiful soul who enjoyed the every day beauty of life. She loved spending time with family, taking long walks and enjoying the sunsets. She was a wonderful mother to her four children and every animal she found throughout her life. She had the most beautiful smile that radiated her kindness to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by her daughter; Caitlyn G. Adams and her husband, Ryan; her sons; Landon Gooch, Jacob Gooch and Caleb Gooch. Her sisters Dana Vollmer and Neta Clostio, her brother; Terry Lambert and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; William George Lambert and Rosa “Rose” Mae Bourque Lambert, sisters; Billie Major and Clifteen Trahan, brothers; Mark Lambert, Leon Lambert, half-sisters; Linda Gayle Whitaker and Sallie Robertson, half-brothers; Billy Dan Lambert, Curtis Lambert and Lyman Lambert. 

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 9:00 AM until time of services. 

Angela’s family would like to thank the staff, nurses and Doctors of Hospice of Acadiana and Calcutta House for the care that they gave Angela.
