Barbara Gayle Plummer

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Barbara Gayle Plummer, 65, who died Saturday, June 15, 2024 at a hospital in New Orleans.  Deacon Byron J. Soley will officiate the service.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Dennis Plummer; three sons, Johnathan Clements and his wife, Hope of Abbeville, Joshua Plummer and his wife, Meghan of Abbeville, and Dennis Plummer, Jr. and his wife, Raquel of Abbeville; two daughters, Becky Davis of Abbeville, and Shelly Laprarie of Center Point; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Broussard and his wife, Debra of Abbeville, and Curvis Broussard of Abbeville; and her best friend, Charlene Hebert.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pervis Broussard and the former Helen Mire; son-in-law, Milton Laprarie; and sister-in-law, Linda Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 9:30 AM until time of service.
