“He Ain’t Heavy He’s My Brother”

ABBEVILLE — A private memorial will be held at a later date honoring Boyd Baudoin, 53, son of Minos and Jo Ann Baudoin peacefully passed away at his home on Thursday, September 16, 2021.  Born in Abbeville on January 11, 1968.  Boyd was a lifetime resident of Abbeville and was a retired firefighter after 24 years of service with the Abbeville Fire Department.  He also was an Emergency Medical Technician, had a trade in air conditioning and refrigeration and briefly served in the United States Army.

He leaves behind his son and best friend, his pride and joy, Caleb Baudoin.  He also leaves behind one brother; three sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He had a very giving spirit blessing many less fortunate while remaining anonymous.  He was gone too soon but will be remembered for his selflessness and kindness to all.

He was preceded in death by his father, Minos Baudoin; mother, Jo Ann Baudoin; and two brothers, Marty Baudoin and Tim Baudoin.
