Brenda D Primeaux

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Brenda Faye Primeaux, who left this world on April 20, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on August 21, 1946, in Abbeville, Louisiana, Brenda was a cherished member of her community and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Brenda was a devoted homemaker, known for her warmth, humor, and an incredible capacity to love everyone around her-family, friends, and even animals alike. She had a special knack for bringing joy to those around her with her comical stories and infectious laughter.

 She is survived by her loving siblings, Gerald Simon, Mary Salazar (and husband Dave Hernandez), David Primeaux (and wife Denise), Paul Primeaux (and wife Wanda), Darline Abshire, Randy Hebert (and wife Pam). Brenda also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who adored her.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Murphy Primeaux; her mother, Lawrence Boudoin; her stepmother, Marjorie Hebert; and Savey and Loretta Primeaux.

 We invite family and friends to pay their respects during visitation at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until time of rosary at 10:30 a.m. Brenda will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery. 

Her pallbearers will be Brady Foreman, Shane Foreman, Virgil Vice, Brice Foreman, Tyler Primeaux, and Brett Primeaux, with honorary pallbearers will be Bradon Sellers and Randy Abshire.

We invite all who knew and loved Brenda to join us in honoring her life and the love she shared so freely. She may be gone, but her spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
