ABBEVILLE - A Memorial Service will be held at a later date honoring the life of Brian James Mayard, 69, who passed away on May 31, 2025, as the result of an automobile accident. Brian was born on October 23, 1955, in Port Sulphur. He pursued a successful career as an accountant, contributing his expertise to companies such as Freeport and Brown and Root in the oilfield industry. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna Woods Mayard; daughter, Andrea Mayard Dodson and her husband, Brandon; grandchildren, Jaci and Ava; brother, Michael Mayard and his wife, Kim; and sister, Phyllis Mayard Wingo. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Paul Mayard, Sr. and the former Ruby Jean Lopez; two brothers, Arthur Paul Mayard, Jr. and Clinton Mayard; and brother-in-law, Ronnie Wingo. All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville (337) 893-4661. |
