Christie Ann Broussard

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Christie Ann Broussard, a beloved mother, daughter, and friend, who left this world at the age of 50. Born in Lafayette, Louisiana, Christie made her home in Abbeville, where she devoted her life to nurturing those she loved and demonstrating an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.

Christie possessed a rare gift for making everyone feel loved and valued. Her selflessness and compassion knew no bounds, and her spirit brought joy to all who were fortunate enough to know her. An avid lover of nature, she found peace in the great outdoors, often finding solace in camping and embracing the beauty of the world around her. Her laughter, warmth, and light will forever be etched into the hearts of her family and friends.

She is survived by her two daughters, Mackenzie Romero and Molly Romero; her two granddaughters Sadie Breaux and Madelyn Breaux; and her mother, Rose Mary Broussard.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Broussard; her sister, Jessica Vigneaux; and her grandparents, Gilbert and Gertie Simon.
