David E. Bigbie

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Edwin Bigbie, who passed away on October 20, 2025 at Capitol House Nursing and Rehab Center, at the age of 70.

He is survived by five children, Carita Bigbie Henry (Ryan), Lorina Ann Bigbie, Casie Renee Sparks Bigbie (James), Gail Marie Bigbie, and Amos James Tweedle; 17 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two siblings, Leonard Lee Bigbie and Kim McKeithen (Danny); and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his spouse, Sarah Ann Bigbie; one daugther, Ranada Lynn Bigbie Chavarria; and his parents, Jesse James Bigbie and the former Dixie McMullen.
