ABBEVILLE - A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Rev. Matthew Barzare will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 17, 2026, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, honoring the life of Diana “Dee Dee” Beraud Duhon, 70, who passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery. Readers for the service will be Christi Beraud and Stacey Beraud. Gift bearers will be Chloe Duhon, Madelyn Duhon, Peyton Duhon and Ellie Duhon. Serving as pallbearers will be Barrett Beraud, Chad Beraud, Alex Beraud, Eric Beraud, Adam Arnett, and Matt Arnett. Honorary pallbearers will be Brenda and Terry Prejean, Patty and Ron Weegmann, Betty Farmer, Rene and Keith Romero, and Karla and Alvin Primeaux. A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville, 209 S. Saint Charles St., Abbeville om Friday, Januray 16, 2026 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM. The visitation will continue Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 8:00 AM until 10:45 AM when the procession will depart for the church. Dee Dee was the devoted wife of Mark for 50 years, a loving mother to her two sons, and a cherished Nana to her four grandchildren. She worked for 35 years in the medical field as a Practice Manager and Certified Medical Coder. Dee Dee had a special talent for decorating her home for the holidays, creating new, beautiful, and unique arrangements each season. She greatly enjoyed taking her grandchildren on vacations and camping trips, as well as traveling to the beach and the mountains. Dee Dee loved spending time at the camp in Pecan Island and fishing for redfish whenever and wherever they were biting. In quieter moments, she enjoyed reading, needlepoint, and working jigsaw puzzles. Dee Dee is survived by her husband, Mark Duhon; her sons, Damian Duhon and wife Jennifer, and Kyle Duhon and wife Chelsea; and her four grandchildren, Chloe Duhon, Madelyn Duhon, Peyton Duhon, and Ellie Duhon; brother, Greg Beraud and sister, Denise Hebert. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glynn and Claudette Beraud; her sister, Lizabeth Boudreaux; and her brothers, Chris Beraud and John Jude Beraud.
