Dolores "Dee" Cormier

A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Reverend Mikel Polson will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 9, 2026, at St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church honoring the life of Dolores Marie Cormier, 86, who passed away on January 7, 2026, at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. 

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will continue Friday from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 9:45 AM. 

She is survived by her brother, Allen Cormier of Kaplan; and two sisters, Geri Cormier of Conroe, TX and Cheryl Eakens of Alpine, TX. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Ides Cormier and the former Elita Dronet; and one sister, Betty Cormier. 

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Heart of Hospice for their compassionate care, particularly her nurse, Skyla, as well as Kaplan HomeCare, especially her dedicated nurse, Janice.
