Elray J. Dumond, Sr.

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Elray J. Dumond, Sr., 78, who died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Tomball Regional Medical Center. He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.
He is survived by his son, Elray J. "Bubba" Dumond, Jr. and his wife, Tiffani of Cypress, TX; three daughters, Lisa White of Abbeville, Hope Dumond and her companion, Billy Hartley of Chatham, LA, and Rachael Dumond and her fiancé, Elliot Broussard of Abbeville; one brother, Libby Dumond of Nunez; eight grandchildren, Tanisha Bertrand, Chelsea Meaux, Journey Hartley, Jaybian Hartley, Mason White, Madison White, Ariel Stelly and Miley Stelly; and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Demette Dumond; his second wife, Rosa Belle Dumond; one son, Jody Dumond; one daughter, Denise Jules; his parents, Bernard Dumond and the former Inez Theall; one brother, Ardley Dumond; two sisters, Joyce Dumond and Audrey Dumond; and his Seeing Eye dog, Jody.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Monday, February 19, 2018 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church.
