Ethel Faye Guillot

Funeral services officiated by Deacon William "Billy" Vincent will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan honoring the life of Ethel Faye Guillot, 68, who passed away on June 7, 2026, at Gueydan Memorial Guest Home. She will be laid to rest at Petry Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob, Bryan, Dusty and Stoney Broussard, Tyler Valliant and Cory Hebert. Honorary pallbearers will be Ken, Brixton, Lyle Broussard, Kelby and Nolan Guillot.

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11 AM.

Ethel loved and adored her godchildren, Stoney and Brixton Broussard. She was known for her warm heart, and she loved sharing cups of coffee with family and friends. Her passions included playing bingo, working on crossword puzzles, and enjoying her favorite drink, Dr Pepper. She will be missed by her brothers and sisters dearly. Ethel formed a special bond with her dear friend, Mona Guidry, and their friendship brought much joy to her life.

She is survived by her two sisters, Veronica G. Hendrickson (Carl) of Lake Arthur and Claudette G. Broussard (Ken) of Forked Island; two brothers, Nolan Guillot (Kim) of Meaux and Kelby Guillot (Van) of Abbeville and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Guillot and the former Mary Alice LeBouef; her paternal grandparents, Glaude and Elmire Gaspard; and her great niece, Arissa Broussard.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the staff and caregivers at Gueydan Memorial Guest Home and Lamm Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you share a cherished memory or a cup of coffee in her honor.
