Frances "Sue" Pere' Huey

ABBEVILLE - Funeral services officiated by Deacon William Vincent will be held at 2:30 PM, Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home – Abbeville, honoring the life of Frances “Sue” Pere’ Huey, 82, who passed away on April 1, 2026, at her residence. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Brown, Len Norris, Gavin Luquette, Caleb Brown, Cole Brattin and Clay Mailhes. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis McMaster, Scott Kapanke, Clayton Rachalla, Waverly Norris and Koty Norris.

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville, 209 S. Saint Charles St., Abbeville, on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the time of services. A rosary will be prayed at 2:00 PM.

She is survived by her son, Chad Brown; four daughters, Stacey Norris, Robin Luquette, Michelle Kapanke, and Angie McMaster; grandchildren, Cody Mailhes, Clay Mailhes, Jobie Luquette, Gavin Luquette, Koty Norris, Waverly Norris, Kelly Costlow, Tristin McMaster, Cole Brattin, Caleb Brown, Clayton Rachalla and Wyatt Frederick; and 19 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Chip” Floyd Huey, III; son, Tony Pere’; grandson, Isaac Luquette; parents, Francis Pere’ and the former Elrita Decuire; and siblings, Donnie Pere’, Mitchell Pere’ and Danny “Bird” Pere’.
