Gardeline Vallo

A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Reverend Stephen S. Irudayasamy will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Gardeline Bridget Vallo, 102, who passed away on August 9, 2026, at Gueydan Memorial Guest Home. She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Chip Mouton, Noah Mouton, Tripp Hebert, Tanner Hebert, Trenton Vallo, and Gabriel Turner. 

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Gueydan on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM. 

She is survived by one son, Robert Vallo & Tanya of Gueydan; one very special niece, Cheryl Sandlin of Brazoria, Tx; four grandchildren, Gabrielle Turner and her husband Kobi Turner of Lake Arthur, Trenton Vallo and his wife Elizabeth Vallo of Lake Arthur, Mallory Vallo of Gueydan, and Taylor Vallo of Gueydan; and five great grandchildren, Gabriel Turner of Lake Arthur, Ahna Turner of Lake Arthur, Rilee Turner of Lake Arthur, Kollins Vallo of Lake Arthur, and Austyn Vallo of Lake Arthur.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Burney Vallo; one granddaughter, Macey Vallo; her parents Wilfred Mouton and the former Eula Monceaux; four brothers; and one sister.
