Geralyn was very faith filled, soft spoken, and a Christian example to all. Even in all her trials and sufferings of which she had many she was uncomplaining. She had a wonderful sense of humor but fiercely protective of those she cared for and loved. Chad her special friend and her dog Gemma were a major part of her life.

She leaves behind her special friend, Chad Mayer; her brothers, Justin (Tissa), Bryan (Dot), and Mark (Marcelle) Matthews; her sisters, Julie (Phil) Mouledous (Godmother) and Carol Matthews; her godchildren, Emily Porter, Aaron Trahan, Christian and Matthew Breaux, and Mia Bayham; twelve nieces and nephews; numerous cousins, and extended family members; a very close friend, Toni Breaux; and her beloved dog, Gemma.
