Kaplan - Gladys Hebert Hogue, 84, of Kaplan Louisiana, passed away on December 31, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 04, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan.
Born on September 8, 1940, Gladys lived a fulfilling life as a devoted mother and grandmother, always prioritizing her family.
Gladys's life was enriched by her love for cooking, which she often expressed by preparing meals for her family, creating moments of joy and togetherness. Her culinary skills and the warmth of her kitchen will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She leaves behind a loving family; her daughter, Pamala Comeaux (Bennett); sons, Fern Hebert (Claire), Francis Lejeune, Frank Lejeune (Patricia), and Allen Renfro (Nicole). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Ryan Hebert (Mackenzie), Brooke Leblanc, Jenee Martin (Dominic), Shaina Duhon (Kyle), Riley Renfro, Raegan Renfro, and Amber Lejeune, as well as 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Gladys was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lamar Hogue; her parents, Alzina Desormeaux Racca and Saul Hebert; siblings, Leo, Harold, Jimmy, Edward and Paul Hebert, and Emily and Marilyn Darby; daughter-in-law Belinda Hebert; and granddaughter, Courtney Hebert.
Her love and legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
Pallbearers will be Phil Darby, Pat Darby, Troy Darby, Ryan Hebert, Dominic Martin, and Kyle Duhon.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Saturday, January 04, 2024, from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Cemetery.
