Funeral services officiated by Deacon William "Billy" Vincent will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 08, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan honoring the life of Gloria J. Broussard, 81, who passed away on October 3, 2026, at Calcutta House. She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Thursday, October 08, 2026, from 9:30 AM until 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 10:30 AM.

She is survived by her stepdaughter, Robin Guidry of Arizona; two step-grandchildren, Nicole Aimee Guidry of Kaplan and Ryan Jude Guidry of Kaplan; and her caregivers, Garry Meaux, Ronnie Meaux and his wife, Darlene, and Julie Meaux all of Kaplan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Angelas and Dula Broussard; stepson, Rayford Guidry; her ex-husband, Dudley J. Guidry; her brothers, J.L. and Carrol Lee Broussard; her sisters, Dorothy Foreman Bodden and Ruby B. Walters.
