Hazel Primeaux Henry

Funeral services officiated by Reverend Richard Meche will be held at 11:30 AM, Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan honoring the life of Hazel Primeaux Henry, 93, who passed away on August 11, 2026, at Abbeville General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will continue Saturday from 9:00 AM until the services at 11:30 AM. 

She is survived by her son, Kenneth P. Henry of Lake Charles; two daughters, Bertha Lanthier of Maurice and Malinda Richard (John) of Lake Charles; five grandchildren, Victoria Lanthier Garcia (Edward), April Henry, Mary Beth Chambers (Jesse), Jennifer Henry Broussard (Brandon) and Emilee Richard; and four great grandchildren, Grant and Julia Garcia and Jayden and Liam Chambers.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leroy J. Henry; second husband, Joseph Hanks; one grandson, Christopher Henry; her parents, Gordy Joseph Primeaux and the former Inez Hebert; three brothers and one sister.
