ABBEVILLE - Funeral services officiated by Reverend Alexander Albert will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville honoring the life of Iris DuBois, 95, who passed away on September 3, 2026 at Camelot of Broussard. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville, 209 S. Saint Charles St., Abbeville, on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM, with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 PM and will resume on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 8:00 AM until the time of services.

Born on December 22, 1930, in Kaplan, Louisiana, Iris lived a life filled with love, service, and unwavering faith. Iris was known for her genuine warmth and her true servant's heart, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she was a woman of God whose kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Steve DuBois and his wife Karen; grandchildren, Michelle Trahan, and Kecia Broussard and her husband Brent; two brothers, Paul Mire, and Melvin Touchet; and two sisters, Shirlene Smith, Deloris Breaux; seven great grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Fils DuBois; parents, Sagnes Mire and the former Agnes Cormier; sisters, Irene Bourque and Lewellyn Breaux.
