Jean "T-boy" Boudreaux

ABBEVILLE - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean "T-Boy" Boudreaux, who left us peacefully on July 26, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on August 11, 1955, in Erath, Louisiana, Jean spent his life in southern Louisiana, residing in Abbeville. Jean was a simple man of few words, but his warmth and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He had a deep love for French music and enjoyed the cowboy shows that brought joy to his evenings. Alongside him always was his faithful four-legged companion, MaryAnn, who brought him comfort and companionship.

A graveside service will be held to honor Jean's memory at LeBlanc Cemetery on July 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Jean may have been a man of few words, but his heart was full of love for his family and friends, and he will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

Jean is survived by his loving sister, Delores Boudreaux, dear friend and neighbor, Norma East, and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred Boudreaux and Marie Elise Istre; brothers, Cyprien and Joseph Boudreaux; sisters Marie Aline Suire, Genevieve Boudreaux, Evelyn Boudreaux, Theresa Sonnier, and Beverly Frederick; half-sister, Louise Desormeaux; and his nephew, Wilfred A. Sonnier.
