Jonathan Jones

Jonathan Rajamanickam Jones, 64, died on November 28, 2025, at Abbeville General Hospital. Funeral services officiated by Pastor Nancy Wofford will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 03, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan. He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.

 Jonathan was born on April 3, 1961, to Radha Ezekiel and Robert Willfred Jones in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He moved to Clarksville, Arkansas to pursue his Bachelor of Science. After receiving his degree in 1986, he moved to Lafayette, Louisiana to pursue his Master of Business Administration. He met his wife, Charlotte Hargrave in 1991. They married in 1993 and welcomed their first child together, Jana, in 1996.

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will continue Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 8:00 AM until the services at 1:00 PM. 

He is survived by his mother, Radha Ezekiel; his wife, Charlotte Hargrave Jones; his daughters, Ena Hebert and Jana Jones Broussard; his sons-in-law, Justin Hebert and Matthew Broussard; his grandson, Landon Hebert; and his granddaughters, Carli Hebert and Gemma and Andie Broussard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Willfred Jones; and his daughter, Carla Hebert.

Jonathan’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Abbeville General Hospital for their care during this time.
