Joseph "Mudboat Joe" Junior Touchet

Kaplan — A family gathering will be held at Vincent Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM, honoring the life of Joseph Junior Touchet, 52, who died Friday, June 28, 2019 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria G. Touchet of Kaplan; his son, Jose Julian Touchet of Kaplan; four daughters, Ashley T. Abshire of Kaplan, Amber G. Touchet and her wife, Malorie of Forked Island, Destiny Touchet of Kaplan, and Karla Gastelum of Kaplan; four grandchildren, Makayla Abshire, Jose Luis Gastelum, Karlos Paul Gastelum, and Alesha Analiy Gastelum; four sisters, Brenda Sue Touchet of Kaplan, Debby T. Falgout of Kaplan, Alice Jan Touchet of Kaplan, and Sherry T. Heath of Kaplan; and one brother, Leon "Shorty" Touchet of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Huey Touchet and the former Mary Ida Guidry; and his father-in-law, Rodolfo Gastelum Bojorquez.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, July  2, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM.
