Funeral services officiated by Pastor Timmy Farris will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan honoring the life of Joyce R. Meaux, 86, who passed away on July 22, 2026, at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Nunez Baptist Cemetery.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
She is survived by one son, Freddie Meaux of Kaplan; two daughters, Wilma (Bozo) Touchet of Forked Island and Marlene (Timmy) Farris of Kaplan; two sisters, Edna Suire of Tennessee and Vieanna (Joey) LeMaire of Kaplan; five brothers, Paul Reed of Kaplan, Jimmy Reed of Abbeville, Roland Reed of Kaplan, Ronald Reed of Kaplan and Doris Reed (Mona) of Kaplan; 18 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Meaux Sr.; two daughters, Cindy Meaux and Melinda Harrington; two sons, Sidney Meaux Jr. and Richard Meaux Sr.; one grandson, Richard Meaux Jr.; and two great granddaughters, Destiny Hargrave and Karli Touchet.
All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan (337) 643-7276.
