Kerry Minos White

Funeral services officiated by Deacon William "Billy" Vincent will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home, Abbeville LA., honoring the life of Kerry Minos White, 62, who passed away on April 7th, 2026, at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Esther Community Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Cade Touchet, Kyle Touchet, Preston Lemaire, Desmond Samford, Kyle Meaux and Scott Griffin. Honorary pallbearers will be Nick Touchet, Stephen Kaittle and Norman Callahan. 

Kerry Minos White was a loving and proud father to Cade, Kyle, Nick and Courtney. He had a unique ability to make others laugh when he wasn't busy being grumpy.

Kerry was a devout lover of outdoors and he especially loved to turn dirt on a beautiful morning. On days he wasn't working, you could find him hunting, fishing, or cooking for someone he loved.

He is survived by his significant other, Mary Marsh; sons, Cade Touchet, Kyle Touchet and Nick Touchet; daughter, Courtney Toups; six grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Kenwood "Butch" White, Albert White, Honorable Mayor Roslyn White, Anthony Chance White, Norwood "Bud" Durr, Preston LeMaire, Rozella Deville, Gabrielle LeMaire; thirteen great nieces and nephews and his dog "poo poo"; stepbrother, Randy Lefort and sister, Karen Sue Touchet. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Minos White; mother, Bernice Durr Lefort; stepfather, Rudy Lefort; brothers, Kenwood Paul White and Kelvin "Coon" White; sister, Katherine White; paternal grandparents, West Sherman and Elizabeth Apple Sherman; and maternal grandparents, Albert Durr and Aline Trahan. 

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home Abbeville LA, on Monday, April 13th, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 P.M. The visitation will continue Tuesday, April 14th, 2026, from 8:00 A.M. until the services at 11:00 A.M.
