Kim Ann Simon

Funeral services officiated by Deacon Bryan Istre will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan honoring the life of Kim Ann Simon, 66, who passed away on May 21, 2026, at Calcutta House. She will be laid to rest at St. David Chapel Cemetery. 

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the services at 1:00 PM. 

She is survived by one son, Christopher Scott Smith of New Orleans; two daughters, Danielle Lee Catalanotto of Gretna and Cassandra Diamond Catalanotto of Belle Chasse; and eight grandchildren, Ayden Patrick Shimon, Kamron Carter, Arabella Catalanotto, Evie Trinchard, Leanne Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Braxton Smith, and Isaac Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Curtis Simon and the former Luby Jane Landry.
