Kristi Monique Dartez

Funeral services officiated by Reverend Glenn Meaux will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 07, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan honoring the life of Kristi Monique Dartez, 44, who passed away on May 5, 2026. She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Blake Simon, David Trahan, Francis Dartez, Brandon Trahan, Mitchell Guidroz, and Kyle Dartez. Honorary pallbearer will be Clayton Hebert.

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Wednesday, May 06, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 PM. The visitation will continue Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 8:00 AM until the services at 2:00 PM.

Kristi was born on May 27, 1981, in Kaplan, Louisiana. She was known for her love of spending time with her family, sharing precious moments over a can of Dr. Pepper, and keeping up with the world through her phone.

She is survived by her life partner, Clayton Hebert; her sisters, Stephanie Lege (Ryan), Dianna Dartez Arcement (Robert), and Charlene Dartz; her brothers, David Trahan (Barbara), Kevin Trahan of New Orleans, and Francis Dartez (Charlotte); her nephews, Blake Simon, Clarence J. Simon III, Dustin Corner, Brandon Trahan, Kyle Dartez, and Lucas Arcement; her nieces, Desiree N. Guidroz, Marissa Trahan, Brittany Corner, and Jade Arcement; her great nephews, Mitchell Guidroz Jr., Alexander Guidroz, Liam Guidroz, Karter Simon, Saylor Simon, Jaxson Trahan, and Greyson Gutry; and her great nieces, Mary M. Simon, Izabella Simon, Gabriella Simon, Kamryn Simon, Shelby Simon, Autumn Simon, and Oakley Guidroz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawless and Mary S. Dartez and her grandparents, Estha and Marie Suire.
