Lalan Nguyen

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Lalan Nguyen, who left this world on January 21, 2026, at the age of 60. Born on March 3, 1965, in Saigon, Vietnam, Lalan made her home in Broussard, Louisiana, where she dedicated her life to being a loving homemaker.

Lalan was a vibrant and passionate woman, known for her love of cooking, singing, and gardening. She could often be found tending to her plants or preparing delicious meals for her family and friends, always bringing joy to those around her. Her warmth and laughter will be deeply missed.

Lalan is survived by her husband, Mike Dinh; her daughter, Van Nguyen; her sons, Vu Nguyen and Thai Nguyen; and her grandsons, Duy Albert, Theodore Nguyen, and Eden Nguyen. She also leaves behind her siblings: Huan Van Nguyen, Dan Van Nguyen, Sang Thi Nguyen, Hoa Thi Nguyen, Hinh Nguyen, and Tuoi Thi Nguyen.

Lalan was preceded in death by her father, Huan Nguyen; her mother, Nhai Thi Nguyen; her brothers, Chi Duc Nguyen and Chi Van Nguyen; and her beloved grandson, Holland Nguyen.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Lalan's life with us. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at St. Andrew Dung-Lac and Companions Church on January 30, 2026, at 9:00 AM.

Visitation will be held at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South Saint Charles Street, Abbeville La., 70510, on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 8:00
