Leverd M. Simon

A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Reverend Mikel Polson will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 3, 2026, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Lee Melancon Simon, 91, who passed away on July 29, 2026, at Ochsner Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. 

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Monday, August 03, 2026, from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11:00am.

She is survived by her four sons, Randy Simon (Jackie), Curtis Thomas Simon II, Joey Charles Simon and Kent Francis Simon all of Kaplan; one daughter, Tina Ann Couvillon of Maurice; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Thomas Simon; one son, Kerry James Simon; one grandson, Justin Simon and her parents, Otis Melancon and the former Annise Meaux.
