Linda Faye Choate

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, June 30, 2025, at St. James Catholic Church in Esther, honoring the life of Linda Faye Hebert Choate, 74, who passed away on June 26, 2025 at her residence. Rev. Emmanuel Fernandez will officiate at the funeral mass. Burial will follow at Esther Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Choate, Justin Choate, Zachary Stelly, Grant Stelly, Morgan Choate, and Brad Hebert.

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville, 209 S. Saint Charles St., Abbeville, Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Monday, June 30, 2025, from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM when the procession will depart for the church.

She is survived by her sons, David Morgan Choate, and Justin Lawrence Choate; brother, Brad Hebert; grandchildren, Zachary Stelly, Madison Choate, Kylie Stelly, Morgan Choate, Grant Stelly, Rio Choate, Rosie Choate; and great- grandchildren, Maverick, Elias, Rhett, Hadley, and Addy Lynn.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Randall “ Randy” Choate; daughter, Jenny Angelle Choate Stelly; and parents, Freddie Hebert and the former Ella Mae Labry.
