Abbeville—Memorial services will be held at a later date for Linda Lea Branham Twill, 87, who passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Woodbriar Southern Style Assisted Living & Memory Care in Maurice, Louisiana.

She is survived by her three children, Lisa Godsick and her husband, Christopher of Brentwood, TN; Lawrence Twill, Jr. of McLean, VA; and Lee Twill of Elburn, IL; and three grandchildren, Samantha Godsick, Griffin Godsick, and Jaya Twill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence John Twill; her parents, Ambler Branham and Elta Mae Delino Branham; and her brother, Larry James Branham.

Linda attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She was a stewardess for Delta Air Lines and United Airlines, prior to raising her family. She served as President of the Board of The Unitarian Co-op Nursery School and President of the PTA at Brayton Elementary School, both in Summit, New Jersey. She was also a board member of St. Michael’s Academy in New York City and an English tutor at various schools for over 15 years. Linda and Larry celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on September 16, 2021.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Woodbriar Southern Style Assisted Living & Memory Care and Community Hospice for the compassionate care they provided to their mother.
