Linda A. Myers

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Ann Myers, who left us on September 6, 2025, at the age of 74, in her home in Bayou Vista, Louisiana.

Linda was a simple soul who found immense joy in life's little pleasures. Linda loved nothing more than kicking back and enjoying her favorite shows, especially when they were commercial-free. Her iPad was her constant companion, keeping her entertained and connected to the things she loved.

A celebration of life will be held at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

She is survived by her son and caregiver, Julius Gaudet (fiancé of 25 years, David Anthony) of Bayou Vista; her daughter, Bridget Gaudet Ellis (Jeremy) of Hattiesburg, MS; three grandchildren, Keefe Vest, James Vest (fiancée Lacy Harper) and Daytona Gaudet (fiancé Cade Nelson); five great grandchildren, James Edward Vest, Pharyn Gaudet, Hensley Ward, Magnolia Nelson and Wyatt Nelson; and her sister, Catherine (Lloyd) Hargrave.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Evellier and Esther Marceaux; and three brothers, Dalton, Ray and Harold Marceaux.
