A Funeral Mass officiated by Reverend Suresh Mathangi will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 21, 2024, at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Linus Paul Langlinais Sr, 79, who passed away on December 19, 2024 at his residence.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM when the procession will depart for the church.
He is survived by his long time companion, Mae Doris Broussard of Maurice, La; two daughters, Tammy (Curt) Stelly of Forked Island and Shanon (Pat) Monceaux of Cow Island; three sons, Tony Langlinais (Jerry White) of Cow Island, Terry Langlinais of Forked Island, and Linus "Winky" (Tammy) Langlinais of Forked Island; two sisters, Gloria (Bradley) Chevilier of Forked Island and Denna Decuire of Big Woods; two brothers, Dalton (Gayle) Langlinais of Sylvester, GA and Elvis Langlinais of Forked Island; one sister-n-law, Ruby Langlinais of Cow Island; seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Minos Pete Langlinais Sr and the former Evia Touchet; one sister, Lena Langlinais; and three brothers, Minos Langlinais, Rodney Langlinais, and Curtis Langlinais.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to caregivers, Lora Gaspard, JoAnn Mire, Donna Roy, and Pat Bertrand for the love and care for our dad in his time of need.
