Lucinda "Cindy" Faulk Broussard

ABBEVILLE - The family of Lucinda “Cindy” Faulk Broussard, who passed away on May 18, 2026, will hold a graveside memorial service at a future date to honor her life and legacy. Lucinda, 66, will be remembered for her nurturing spirit, her role as a devoted mother to her two daughters, Heather and Erin, and as a proud grandmother to Christian. Lucinda enjoyed her days spent in the company of her 17-year-old rat terrier, Molly, cherishing the time they spent together. She found joy in simple pleasures, such as feeding cardinals in her yard and indulging in her favorite reality TV shows.

She is survived by her two daughters, Heather B. Fruge’ and her husband Travis, and Erin K. Broussard and her fiancé Brian Legendre; grandson, Christian Micheal Foret; brothers, Keith Faulk (Tina), Kent Faulk, Norris Touchet (Lori), and Benjamin Jeanise; nephew, Travis Broussard (Brandy); great nephews, Blake Faulk (Lauren), Gavin Faulk, William Faulk (Audrey), and Myles Broussard; great neice, Cahli Broussard; brother-in-law, Chris Broussard; sisters-in-law, Lisa B. Doucet (Dexter), and Christine M. Broussard; and Godchild, Marcus Doucet.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eustis and Velta Louise Guidry Faulk; husband, David Keith Broussard; brother, Rickey Faulk; grandparents, Dennis and Laurice Bourque Guidry; mother-in-law, Anna Mae Trahan Broussard; father-in-law, Marion Dale Broussard; and brother-in-law, Brian Broussard.
