Mary Lena Gary Marting
April 17, 1932 — August 27, 2018
Gueydan—Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Gueydan Cemetery honoring the life of Mary Lena Gary Marting, 86, who died Monday, August 27, 2018 at Gueydan Memorial Guest Home.
She is survived by her step-son, Bruce Blotner; one step-daughter, Linda Kline; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Gueydan Memorial Guest Home and to Heart of Hospice for the compassionate care they gave to Ms. Marting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Marting; her parents, Olemar Gary and the former Inez Hardy; one brother, Alford James Gary; and one sister, Sylvia Gary Hartwell.
